The Hurricanes battled after trailing Fair Haven High School 1-0 via a Leigha Kretzer first-half to goal to storm back and take the 2-1 victory in overtime. In the first overtime, Harper Traendly delivered the game-winning goal after tracking the ball from a couple of Fair Haven clears and shot the ball up and over the entire opposing defense. Traendly cheered in celebration, receiving hugs from her teammates, coaches, knowing she helped Hartford keep their undefeated season alive at 2-0. "I was super, super excited," Traendly said. "We played a really long, hard game and fought super, super hard for the win.
