You need at least 8-12 reps with a deeeeeep stretch for empty, toned muscle. If you want to train for strength do 1-5 reps keeping the deeeeeeeeeep stretch and cooling your hands to maximise strength

when I first started lifting I did 10-12 reps to gradually expose myself to challenging weight but I focused on form for a while now I only do 8-10 and if I can do 10 and feel like I could've done more I increase the weight

Have the new studies debunked the statement that 5x5 and 3x8 gives the same hypertrophy cuz it has the same amount of total reps? Or is that still a thing. Only difference that 5x5 focuses more on str and 3x8 on size
