My dad passed away earlier this year and I used to talk with him on the phone for hours about religion and god and reincarnation and whatever else came up… he believed in god but I don’t. I’ve been really missing our talks and listening to your videos both heals something in me and makes me miss him so much more deeply. I just wanted to say thank you. I wish I was able to share your videos with him before he passed. I think he would have really liked them too.

If the Bible is divinely inspired and is the literal word of God, none of that matters. Languages and time periods are nothing to God, who works in mysterious ways. (I don't believe any of that as I am evidence-based, but it's the mindset of the Bible believer).

Great, so when are we going to apply this criteria to Julius Caesar, Alexander the Great, and so on? People who say eyewitness testimony for Jesus isn't reliable can't have their cake and eat it too when it comes to general history.

if i may ask, what about the gospel you felt didn't make sense, or is it the way it's institutionalized and altered? this is the gospel, The gospel of the Kingdom is the truth that God is our Father, we are His children, and all people are therefore brothers and sisters. as jesus taught it. the rest is human interpretation, what makes you detest the gospel?
