@beefcake_brina: They blocked before I knew they existed⬇️ I’ve been in the “call out” space for 5 yrs. Here’s what it’s actually like… ⭐️There’s no governing body for the fitness industry. Did you know that misinformation scientifically spreads 6x faster? Why? It’s novel. The algorithm doesn’t know the difference between good and bad publicity. Just that it’s viral. Luckily my degree gave me the skill of proper research analysis and I’m able to condense complex topics into layman’s terms. ⭐️When you call out individuals, brands, trends, people assume you’re “always on.” In reality, you have to separate online persona from who you are off camera otherwise it’ll eat at your mental health. ⭐️You live with the knowledge that even if you’re being fair and have hard evidence, some people will see you as problematic. Sometimes enough for legal threats but they can’t sue if it’s factual. ⭐️Speaking truth can mean losing potential collabs or sponsorships. That’s a cost creators outside the niche don’t always understand. ⭐️To avoid being discredited, you spend hours double-checking sources, receipts, and screenshots before posting. Lots of front end work and everything you say and how you say it matters. Intention should closely match your impact. Aka you can’t just do it just do it for clout…. (I mean you can but it’s pretty obvious if that’s your sole purpose).
