 When Millie was born, I worried we’d have to give up our family adventures. I thought she’d face too many physical limitations or health issues, struggle with new environments, or simply be “too much work” especially alongside two siblings. I even feared others would stare and judge. But I couldn’t have been more wrong. Kids with Down syndrome, like all kids, thrive with new experiences, curiosity, and fun.
