@chloeshaytattoo: Shopping for a new tattoo artist can be tough when you’re part of marginalized communities. It’s always been very important to me to create a safe space for queer people and poc’s, and I have been prioritizing practicing on darker skin tones during my apprenticeship. There are a ton of racist misconceptions about tattooing melenated skin, and people that refuse to learn don’t deserve to call themselves an artist. It’s not a skin issue, it’s a skill issue!!! Posing this vid to show my progress and skill in this regard :) thank u for watching!
