in canada they literally hand you the machine so you're the one holding it and you're the one who gets to choose how much tip you wanna add/not add and most servers look away or even walk away for a brief moment while you're paying.

Also the fact that some places in the states don’t take Apple Pay???? I was shook scrambling through my wallet at the airport in Texas because my Apple Pay wasn’t working on there machine and the girl goes “that doesn’t work here” lmao
