My mum passed away from sepsis nearly 2 years ago after we were told she was fine and just had a fever she was taken in by hospital and passed away the next day from sepsis after a 60 year fight of operations and everything go wrong all the time

I was in icu for sepsis, went into kidney failure, was in a coma, later got told they thought I would have a leg amputated because of how black the sepsis caused them to go, scary times……. Hope you make a full recovery xxxx

Yes my Mum died four weeks ago from sepsis. She had a stomach ulcer that burst and poison went through her system. Don’t know how I will get through this, I am working but with a broken heart

Sepsis is so scary my son when he was 1 got so poorly after his nans dog bit him that he ended up with it & I sobbed for days because I thought I was losing him. Such a scary condition 😭

this video came randomly on my FYP and I cried because my mum was diagnosed with an unknown origin of sepsis and that's how she died as well as having two cardiac arrests and a brain injury my mum was on an intensive care unit ward in Barnard general hospital from the 6th of July this year to the 9th of July this year exepsis is a killer sepsis needs to be talked about more and more I lost my mum to sepsis so I'm hoping and praying for you to fight this because I don't want your family to go through with losing someone to sepsis like I have rest in paradise mum until we meet again

they told my dad 9 weeks ago they were treating him for sepsis when he first went in they gave him meds for 3 days then stopped them and said they couldn't do anything else for him they tried to say it was something else he had 6 days later he passed away

my dad went to a&e. was told he had a water infection. took him back two days later. burst bowel and sepsis. emergency operation and on life support for 6 weeks. he survived

So sorry! Hope you feel better soon! 💕 so frustrating not being listened to and then things like that happening, if only they listened we know our bodies better than anyone else. If we feel somethings wrong then something is wrong.

I was admitted 10 years ago for suspected appendicitis. Wasn’t feeling that unwell - just stomach pain. But what caused my family to call 111 which in turned called the ambulance was the fact that I had fainted earlier that evening and then a rash broke out on my body. They kept me on a ward for 3 days constantly delaying the operation. On the 3rd day they told me it was actually an infection in the bloodstream. Multiple antibiotics and a 2 week hospital stay and I eventually felt well enough to go home. Found out this week (10 years later) that I had sepsis… not one doctor in the hospital told me …

this was me last year except my local hospital sent me home that night to make my own way to a specialist the next morning. my partner brought me up on the bus i don't remember it i was in septic shock. when I eventually got to the hospital and I was brought in for what they thought was a simple procedure for the plastic surgeon turned into about 20/25 doctors and nurses around me and an emergency alarm going off and about 5/10 minutes away from the infection going to my heart and going into cardiac arrest again. I spent 6 months in hospital
