If the child is placed on a section 20 but it’s after the 13 weeks before they come 18 then they decide to turn it to section 17 because of the age of 18 is that allowed?

I put my son on a section 20 when he was born and next day they said that he needed to be on an interim care order because they were worried I was gunna take him out I was like well I put him on it y would I if I know my mental health stops me looking after him and now they trying to get him adopted !!

I do agree with you in some level Section 20 should be explained to parents however if LA request section 20 the threshold is met for the child being at risk if significant harm.
