Galen is new to las vegas there hasn't been a graduating Rn class yet. March will be the 1st graduating class in LV. its a good school imo.

Galen is horrible! Overpriced with horrible policies! They want you to fail so they can charge you to retake the semester. I walked out of the admissions meeting & never looked back.

I’m a Galen graduate. Yes, the program structure and policies weren’t the best, but honestly, what nursing program is completely smooth? Galen was my last resort—I had a 3.7 GPA and still couldn’t get accepted anywhere else. Fast forward two years, and now I’ve been accepted into multiple PMHNP programs. Galen was WORTH it!

I had a new nurse tell me she was failing nursing school and transferred to Galen. She said it was so much easier. I refused to train her.

I hate HCA but Galen was the best choice out of 3 schools. Galen has always been on point with all of my stuff. Come on now we all know nursing schools across the board should all be on academic warning‼️As for money they all rip you off just have to choose which one is the best option. 🤗

Had one girl on the LPN go rn program and she bragged that she took the tests at home and how she cheated on every test with those smart glasses.

I graduated from Galen way before they were bought by HCA…it was great and taught very well. I hire nurses now and most of the new nurses don’t know what they’re doing and it doesn’t matter what school they graduated from. Nursing schools in general have all gone downhill.

I’m almost done with my ADN at Galen in Louisville…where the original Galen location is. And we have NO HCA hospitals within 45 miles of here. I had no clue how ✨corrupt, allegedly✨ HCA is. I’ve busted booty & in 17 more days and I’ll be out.

I work at hca in South Carolina. So many of my coworkers are going to Galen. I highly suggest you stay away from Galen and go to your community college to get your degree.

Lowest pay and highest tuition. I didn’t know about HCA until midway through the program :( now I’m 77k in debt of them

In the San Antonio campus last year, there was a big exodus of teachers and clinical teachers. In our local nursing group, They were pretty much begging for people to apply to teach and teach clinicals. What I heard was the pay wasn't the greatest and there was a lot of issues on how they were being treated so a lot of people left.

They fail you on classes just so you have to pay money over again. They teach you nothing and when you ask questions they tell you "were not going to give you the answers" and they pay for RN to BSN but make you pay LPN to RN and pay like 3%
