My beautiful TT sis, that was a good move for your fam. I could never live in NY esp when raising a fam. Families from NY are moving over to NJ for better school and life for their kids. My Neigbor moved and they love NJ.

Moved out of New York permanently at 27. I moved around a bit but after having kids , I don’t care how convenient accessible the culture and food is in NYC , I can’t ever imagine raising my kids there. So glad I left. I just did this i was in Richardson, looked for halal food places. liked Greenvine supermarket I could get my halal meats ans curry powder, masala cumin ans other things as well so that would be convenient for me.

I hear you. I also lived in Richmond Hill/South Ozone Park for over 20 years and feel the same way, loved how convenient the location was and having everything we need (culture wise) nearby. But after I had my daughter, we needed to be somewhere more slow paced, moved to Long Island and it worked out for us.
