Earlier today, Mayweather announced that he will face the former heavyweight king next year at a yet-to-be-announced venue. The announcement, however, sparked assumptions among some fans that Mayweather had run out of money eight years into retirement. In his Instagram story, however, Mayweather showed off large stacks of cash. “I’m pretty sure I’d be upset too if I was somebody else. I’d be mad at Mayweather, too. How the f— for 30 years you can keep getting money like this,” Mayweather said on the video. “I would be mad too, I would be hating on Mayweather too.
