@armen_olymp: ⚔️ Tai Otoshi – The Body Drop 👉 Key Idea: You’re not lifting — you’re creating a “tripod” where your opponent’s body rolls over your leg. ⸻ 🥋 Step-by-Step (focus on positioning) 1. Grip (Kumi-kata) • Usual collar + sleeve grip. • Pull them slightly forward and to your diagonal side. 2. Entry (Tsukuri) • Step deep with your lead foot to the side of your opponent (almost past them). • Your shoulders should be lower and close to their chest. 3. Positioning the Blocking Leg • Extend your blocking leg straight in front of their leg (the one they are stepping on). • Think of it like a “barrier” — your thigh/knee pit is close to their thigh, and your leg is locked. • Your body is angled, not square — you’re making a wall. 4. The “Bump” • As you set the leg, use your knee pit / back of your thigh to bump their thigh slightly. • This makes them step onto your blocking leg line — so now they can’t move. 5. Execution (Kake) • Keep your blocking leg straight and strong. • Rotate your upper body down and across, pulling their sleeve and collar like a steering wheel. • Their body will topple over your leg like a tree trunk falling over a log 🌳➡️ ⸻ 🎯 Visual Cue It’s like you: • Bump with the back of your knee to “feed” their leg onto the trap, • Straighten your blocking leg like a pole, • And then throw them over it with upper body rotation. @OlympFightClub @Hayk @Olymp Fight Club #judo#jiujitsugrappling #judoka #judopower #judotraining
