After Brittany Watts, I refuse to condemn any woman for "killing her baby" until we've got court documented evidence that proves the infant was born living. They massacred that woman in the press before it came out that she had miscarried.

I think the “too large” comment is actually still propaganda. They tore her toilet apart trying to find tissue and the narrative turned into flushing a large fetus.

I used to work at a funeral home and people holding on to miscarriages/not knowing what to do even in a pro choice state is way more common than people acknowledge. People vastly underestimate the shock, grief, and dissociation people go through.

It’s not even illegal to dispose of a miscarriage. The fact that they’re trying to charge her for that is because they have nothing else to even attempt to charge her with!

I gave birth to my deceased baby at 17 weeks on the toilet as well. I can’t describe the genuine shock, panic, and trauma that that does to somebody. In fact, I put my baby in a bag too because I was scrambling to clean up blood enough to get in an ambulance and had no freaking clue what to do and how to bring him with me. I had gone to several ERs + my OB already at that point and nobody in the hospital or the ambulance gave me any preparation or instructions for this. This honestly makes me wanna tell my story.
