My dad was raised in a catholic home and than after youth ministry continued 20 years of service in the coastguard finally working as a teacher, my mom was also a teacher for most of her life, I hated school, enough to drop out and find a life away from higher education, just because someone lives a certain way doesn’t mean they act the right way. That last sentence is very valuable advice for who needs to hear it, I pray anyone in a home like this knows it’s sadly common and finds the peace they deserve.
