Substance p- sounds like something your cousin makes in the backyard, but it is a chemical that is released to fire off pain signals to warn your body of a potential threat. 2. Cortisol- this cause that feeling of stress in the body. Like when it’s time to pay rent and you spent all your money on DoorDash last month. 3. Endorphins- this is like getting free painkillers without having to go to the doctors office. It’s that warm feeling you get after crashing out (that’s what the kids are calling it these days) 4. Dopamine- it’s the same chemical you get from doomscrolling and shopping on temu.
