Pull them up from the bottom. Much easier and you can actually get a smaller size for better compression. If I put mine on over my head I would need a xl but sliding it up from the bottom I wear a m and it makes me look 50lbs thinner.

My wife actually showed me a trick to put in these on and taking them off. You put them on like you put pants on from your feet first and then go up.
