@hey_its_jazmin_: Recently learned what bottle rot is… and it took me 20 minutes to choose a toothpaste and toothbrush 🫢🫠 #babyteeth #babyoralcare #toms #firsttimemom #ftm
Please please don’t listen to these comments and use fluoride in toothpaste. So many little kids get cavities because the parents use fluoride free and that does nothing for them.

i was a pediatric dental assistant for years. It’s completely safe to use fluoride toothpaste even if they don’t spit. Do a rice size amount & wipe their teeth afterwards. our teeth need fluoride

My daughter has been using fluoride toothpaste since she was 1. Took her to the dentist for the first time at age 4 and her dentist said and I quote “oh wow Momma! Her teeth look amazing! So pearly white and NO CAVITIES!”

Fluoride free if they aren’t able to spit it out. Once they can spit it without swallowing any you can use fluoride toothpaste! This is what my kids dentist told me but I’d suggest following whatever your dentist recommends

Do NOT use fluoride free. Please. Don’t trust TikTok doctors with your babies teeth. Fluoride does not have to be spit out. It’s in your drinking water for a reason. It’s like vaccines, everyone thinks they don’t need them until you look at parts in history where they actually weren’t used

If your little one is old enough to spit out the toothpaste, flouride. Otherwise, training toothpaste. My 1 YO has 13 teeth already and we use a kids electric toothbrush now. Before it was WWE and now?? New baby. Clean teeth without the dramatics.

I use fluoride toothpaste and brush my teeth really well, and I’ve gotten cavities my whole life. Some people just have cavity prone teeth. Now I use fluoride free and coconut oil

Don’t stress on toothpaste. Just get one that’s fluoride free and a soft toothbrush. Don’t forget to floss. The point is brushing off the food and getting it out from in between the teeth/gums with floss. Fluoride when older!

Can’t decide whether to continue using the fluoride free or with it. She just swallows it because it tastes good to her so ughhh
