The first time I went to Japan and need to make a transit at Shinjuku station to my hotel from the airport. I got lost in the labyrinth for an hour. I finally gave up and walk out of the station to hail a cab 😭

Google maps says what exit you need and if you cant find it, you just take whichever exit and then maps will ajust itself 😊

Here was my Hotel for 2 weeks. I used the Shinjuku Station everyday. Never got lost. It's very easy If you can read the signs (it's all in english as Well) and Just remember what exit you needed to Take the First time. Also never got lost or took the wrong Exit at any other Station in Tokyo. Just slow down and Take your time the First few Times and after that its as easy as breathing 😌

Left Tokyo yesterday. My hotel was just down the street from Shinjuku. Here’s my tips, if you are on the Yamanote line, walk down a street nearby (walk past the Sunroute Plaza), and there is a less busy station, Yoyogi. If you need to use Shinjuku, definitely look up where your train line is first. Look at the platforms with its locations, and see if your destination will be there. If you need an exit, just follow the crowds tbh. Or retrace your footsteps. (I was only in Japan for like 6 days too. I’m at my hotel in Kyoto now)
