if you buy cook to oder food you're going to wait. why do people complain about fresh food? If your one of the people who buy for the entire family plus some, you're gonna wait. You have drive thru, lobby, curbside, dine in and door dash all at the same time.

Corporate greed. They’re expected to have window times before a certain threshold, usually around 45 seconds because that’s apparently when companies make the most money. The issue is companies don’t give out enough labor for these times to be reasonable. And they cut labor when your times don’t meet expectations. So they don’t give you enough labor to meet expectations, then cut when you don’t meet expectations. It’s a vicious cycle that’s impossible to win. It’s the reason I left Starbucks.

Yes people it’s partly cuz we’re on a timer but the majority of the time it’s cuz everybody comes through and orders 80 nuggets, 6 Big Macs, and like 8 large fries. It’s cuz peoples orders have lowkey gotten out of hand in the drive thru. If your order is going to take more than 5 mins maybe the drive thru isn’t the best option.

I had an experience that had made me decide to never go back. I ordered a QOC meal with a tea. I’m three cars deep after I order in the drive thru. It takes about 8 mins to get to the second window. They ask me to pull forward after about 4 mins. Then I sit there for 20 mins. No food. I go to walk in as the lady’s walking out. Her excuse. We are training purple. They why did 15 cars just got thru the drive thru while I’m waiting for 1 burger patty on bread and a med fry.

The ones who wait are: cook to order , curb side orders , Uber orders. Reg orders are served at windows at our McDonald’s

ummm bc food takes time to cook. we r busy wrapped around building. short staffed. lazy workers. cook to order food. mobile orders that are huge. many reasons. oh we also have times we have to keep up with. if you dont wanna wait 10 minutes dont come simple as that.
