For real. The number of parents I’ve talked to who have said they are willing to spend every last dollar (they don’t have) so their kids can go to their dream school at full price with zero loans. 😩

100%. My kids were given a dollar amount per year and that was it. We researched the crap outta schools that would offer enough merit to get there and didn’t bother applying to the “dream” we knew would give $0!
