100% agree! DEI has been bastardized by the right. They automatically defer to the idea that every black person or woman is a DEI HIRE insinuating they don’t meet the requisite criteria for the job! When, largely, the opposite is true!!

the thing is, we've allowed these ghouls to completely co-opt and corrupt what DEI actually means and stands for. Mina ABSOLUTELY is a DEI hire and that should be CELEBRATED. DEI die what it set out to do, hire an actually QUALIFIED individual from a demographic that historically wouldn't have even been looked at for an interview for the position. we have to reclaim that term and stop allowing them to use it as an insult.

Mina is possibly the best TV analyst going. Knows her stuff, no hot takes, funny and insightful. Having a problem with her is telling on yourself.

a lot of this stuff about dei is projection. they're cool with white people getting jobs over more qualified minorities and women. using sports as example. every time a white goes with very little qualification get hired as an NFL coach. Conservatives run to defend coaching hire.

Gotta add to the Mine Kimes love. She is by far ESPN's most knowledgeable analyst football or otherwise, more personable than any other face still on their network. They're lucky to have her and these stooges are lucky to hear a real football take between all the noise
