the way people just think seongje is some evil masochist and that’s all he is. In reality, he is lonely, so he takes any chance to be friends with someone, even if it’s just being someone so called “sidekick”. Hes never number one and seems to struggle to accept that, or tries and ignore the fact he is and that’s why he gets upset when someone does call him “baekjins minion”. It’s also why he takes so many offers to be the one in “power”, like at the end, so he can finally have some sort of significance in people’s lives. I hope this makes sense 😭😭
