Paramedic here. Never assume anyone is intoxicated. This officer could very well be having a medical emergency. Conditions like hypoglycemia can mimic symptoms like this. I can’t tell you how many times I’d get called for a “drunk” homeless person who wasn’t intoxicated but had a blood sugar of 30.

“What if he’s having a medical emergency?” Then why aren’t they calling for medical help? Or their sergeant?

As far as im concerned… their failure to hold each other to the Law automatically disqualifies them to enforce it on anybody else, they have lost the moral standing to do so.

driving tired is the same as driving intoxicated, so even if he is tired, why is he on the job. arrest them all.

Even if it was a “medical emergency”, he shouldn’t be working in that condition.

If I were a cop, I would’ve done the same thing. But if I was in the same situation as a civilian, I would’ve done the same thing. I think we’re all humans. And humans are selfish.

If this was a medical episode then are his fellow cops trying to just let him die or…? Zero sense of urgency in getting him help 🤨
