I can see this. Not a rich kid, never had money from the parents but when I dropped out of college I had a vw bus and no job or apartment to lose, so just living in the bus was fine. I did have a parent house I could go back to but I found it was easy to get temp jobs so didn’t really need that

As someone who aligns himself with punk culture, but grew up/is growing up in a fairly stable household, I think I get most of my ideologies from my dad. He did not grow up in a stable home, not even close, and he had a lot of those experiences that he has shared and expressed with me. So, even without living it myself, I can see from the point of view of someone who has. That’s just part of it though
