The fact Mizu really was the way she was because of love and betrayal. The fact that she sent her back because she thought it would protect her. And that was the very reason Akemi resented her. If it does get more seasons, I think Akemi could turn out to be a major villian.

Love Akemi but her expecting Mizu to act as her personal bodyguard after she treated her like a dog and tried to kill her while she was still injured from defending a whole brothel and fighting against a whole army was so over the top. Like, girl was spitting orders to Mizu and just using her and she dares say Mizu has no love 🙄
