@joe.griffo_: Storm Eowyn brought extreme weather to yr Wyddfa this day ❄️🏔️ #Hiking #mountains #snowdon #blizzard #Outdoors Toughest conditions met on Yr Wyddfa❄️🏔️ Yr Wyddfa is the Welsh name for Snowdon, the highest mountain in Wales, which is located in Eryri National Park (formerly known as Snowdonia). On the 26th of January 2025 we were met with these conditions. Extreme winds, snow, ice, essentially a blizzard at around 900m+ elevation. Conditions were that bad we were unable to summit. Good experience though.
