The most requested frog has ALWAYS been a smaller version 💕 . So to start off this new chapter, I’ll be bringing you… another frog!! (LOL) But chubbier, cuter, and completely designed by me. 🐸♥️ I see a lot of questions asking if the last frog was my design, & the answer is no and yes. The 1st frog mold was an OG vintage Duncan mold, given to me during my last artist residency. It was already in HORRID condition and falling apart. I made a silicone mother mold of the original, flaws and all, and I’ve been making my own fresh frog molds for years! After casting a toad, I have been modifying each sculpture to be my own. (ex. The vintage mold doesn’t have any details on the bottom, so I’ve sculpted thousands of frogs toes.. Aaaand some of them are turned into fruits, fairies, or whatever else is on my mind 😅) I know a lot of people are still wanting the old garden toads, so please remember that they’re not gone forever! I am just totally burnt out on this guy and am ready to move on. It’s hard for me to make production of one piece while trying to begin production on the next, so I’ve been putting this off forever. Once I start making molds of Smol frog, you guys are going to get new art from me more often. This process will give me more creative freedom!! I have a BFA where I focused on ceramics and sculpture, and I have a lot of tricks up my sleeve that you haven’t seen.
