@taratravelling: This is Molly Malone in Dublin - she’s supposed to represent the legendary fishmonger who sold cockles and mussels through the streets of Dublin in the 17th century. The statue was erected in 1988 to celebrate Dublin’s millennium, but locals have had to constantly defend her from wandering hands The original Molly Malone was likely a real person who died young during a fever epidemic.
