We spent Labor Day weekend at my mom’s. Literally as I shifted into gear to leave, my mom asked for dates when she can come visit us. MOM!! This clearly isn’t the time to coordinate our calendars!

It’s always the last minute task/repair that gets me. The “Oh, I almost forgot!” thing which is really what they wanted all along but didn’t feel like they could ask until they gifted you enough items to absolve any sort of trade imbalance.

My mom ALWAYS gives me stuff but it's always good, useful stuff and I'm super grateful. Last time I came home with an electric tree trimmer, an extention cord, and a ladder. She's the best mom ❤

My sister sent me this and I literally just came home from my parents’ house with an entire basket of food, the basket to keep, a baggie of bars of soap, a can of mousse, and a $40 Talbots gift certificate addressed to my deceased Grandma that I was sent back into the house to grab 😅
