I wish they taught more of this in school, mortgage, taxes, credit cards and debt… especially having grown up with parents who weren’t good with money and didn’t teach me any of this or the importance of saving.

While the original subject is "front loading interest" like Chris is talking about ppl get a pre-approval letter for their max loan amount so that's where they shop or "max training" this has less to do with education and more to do with self discipline and self awareness. The real estate industry is legally transparent but then also communally, nobody wants to talk to us about RE so when somebody does we gush. It's up to you to ask cuz we want to tell you all about it 😂😂😂

When the realtor asked me my budget, I said whatever keeps me at X amount for the monthly mortgage payment. I wasn’t concerned so much with the cost of the house by what I could afford each month.
