No. I've had people on a PIP and he turned it around. He was young and it was a wake up call. He went on to senior management in the end.

coming from someone who works in HR and sees PIPs all the time, this is categorically not true, the only ones who are fired at the ones who dont try to actually improve 👍

I was wrongly put on a PIP. After I proved I should never had been. The manager who done that was fired for misconduct !! And rightly so.

oh yes. I had a PIP that was endless. completely broke me. I left for my own sanity. confidence destroyed beyond repair for a while. toxic management can destroy staff x

completely false- PIP is a great tool and last resort as a manager to give the clearest instructions and wake up call some need to understand exactly what they need to be doing in their role, most pass! and can go on to be anything they want

I was on a similar plan. Being micro managed and monitored every single day can be detrimental to ones mental health. I was able to pass after four tormentous months. The only reason I remained defiant through the plan was because I had children to feed.

I loved my pip meetings. I once wrote my barriers to achieving the goal was spending too much time in pip meetings 😂

Had one at my last job. I left, went somewhere new and they have told me I have a great work ethic and I’m high performing. It’s a companies way of wanting you out. It sucks but that’s reality.

I was put on a pip and went to the doctor's and was signed off, got another job, worse even, put on a pip again whike on probation and resigned, no way I was going to stay in that disgusting company
