Some highlights from my summer, there isn’t too much to write home about. I mostly just rode my bike and drove cars, that’s the kind of person I am, I don’t really like going abroad on holidays. I like staying in Iceland. Hard enduro is my main passion, and every minute I get off work I just want to be on my bike somewhere up in the mountains, that’s where I feel at ease. I didn’t do too many superjeep tours this summer, only a few. Mainly because we just had our most successful fishing season to date, and my pockets were already bursting at the seams with money. Also, I’ve been guiding for so many years now that it’s starting to feel like any other job. Yes, even driving over a glacier in a jacked up truck can start to feel like office work. I also needed to take some time off after that long fishing season, which included stepping back from TikTok. But the fishing season has started again and we are heading to the grounds as I write this, so we’ll be returning to our regular program here. I’ll also try to bring some new perspectives on our fishing adventures. You’ll notice that I draw a clear line on what I’m willing to show from my personal life, privacy is underrated these days in my opinion. It has also come to my attention that there are a lot of fake profiles of me (mainly on Facebook), reposting everything I post and even using my profile picture. Meta won’t do anything about it, even after countless emails and reports, which really discourages me from sharing more personal stuff. But enough yapping, let’s get fishing! 🎣 😎 - @tommi.thor
