@patriccia_ortiz: My grandmother now lives alone in her house, and that house is only being rented by her child. She used to live with one of her children and their family in a house, but since the land wasn’t theirs, they had to leave and move elsewhere. She also stayed with them for a while in the new place, but eventually, she wasn’t allowed to live there anymore, so they rented another house for her. She has moved from place to place since then. At one point, she lived in front of another child’s house, renting there, but was transferred again. Sometimes she stays in her children’s houses, and they also take her out from time to time, but most of the time, she’s just alone in her own place. Her breakfast and lunch are brought to her, and in the evening, we bring her dinner, spend a little time chatting, and then go home. When my father brings her food, he also fixes her mosquito net and clears away her dirty dishes. She told me that Christmas is coming soon, and she hopes I can buy her slippers.
