I'm half Taiwanese half Japanese born in the US, I lived in the Florida most of my life then moved to Osaka in 2016, first year was very chill and fun, but loneliness hit me like a ninja. In 2018 I moved to Suzhou where my cousin has a condo unit as a uni TA. People here are quite warm and approachable. Try to live in a few places and see where you feel most comfortable my friend, and good luck👍

My husband and I lived there for six months. Every non-Japanese person we met who had lived there for a while said exactly the same. They were all lonely and isolated and gravitated towards other immigrants. The Brazilian-Japanese people were especially affected by this.

I decided to leave japan after 6 years living and working there, even I loved Japan I had to take this difficult decision cuz the more I lived there the most isolated and lonely I felt. When I started talking bad about Japan I knew it was time to leave. I still love Jspan, which is my second home but I don't think I can go back to live.
