@woods_clara_: 👶 When I was 24 years old, I had my first baby, Clara. She was beautiful. But I didn’t know yet what had happened to her while she was still in my womb. 🧠 We realized something was wrong when Clara turned one, we did an MRI. That day, the doctors told me she had a stroke inside my womb. They spoke of “extensive brain damage.” They said she would be a “vegetable.” In one sentence, they took away all hope. 💔 Back then, I was afraid. I was sad. But I decided: I would accept and fight for my girl. Fight for her future. Clara can’t speak even if she understands Portuguese, English and Italian! 📲 As Clara grew, I saw a chance. I had experience in digital marketing, so when she was 10, I created a social media account for her. People laughed at me — but I didn’t give up. And then something magical happened: Clara discovered painting. 🎨 She fell in love with Frida Kahlo after I gave her a book. She dreamed of having an exhibition in New York, just like Frida. And so we tried. From that book to her first exhibitions, our lives began to change. 🌍 Today, Clara is 19. She’s an international artist, an entrepreneur, and a voice for inclusion. I sold my business to build this future with her, not for her. 💙 We left everything behind—our house, our business, our family safety net. We had sleepless nights, tears, and stomach pain from the fear of starting over in a new country. But we held onto the hope that maybe, just maybe, this could show the world what was possible. And it did. 🩵 That’s when we realized—this wasn’t just about Clara’s art. It was about inspiring people to dream big and keep going, even when life doesn’t go as planned. Even when the world tells you no. We thought we were just building a future WITH Clara. But we were building something much bigger: A brand Clara Woods Collection , a movement, and a message of joy, strength, and resilience.
