I had a similar pain, but mine was ongoing after the initial thunder clap pain. It ended up being a brain aneurysm. Please go get checked!!!

This happened to m, I thought it was an aneurism but it was a pinched nerve in my neck. It wss scary as hell.

Thunderclap headache=ER. I had one a few months ago, and even though I have chronic migraines this was SO different. The ER treated me with stroke & heart attack protocol. Definitely go!!

It could be a thunderclap headache. The first time I got one was terrifying; I would say go get checked. A lot of times they will take to the back right away because they will want to rule out a lot of things 🫂🫂

Sounds like Occipital neuralgia, I have it too, it sucks! Apparently not dangerous, but still scary. Work on keeping your shoulders down.

What you described sounds like Occipital Neuralgia. Sharp very sharp burning nerve pain up the back of your head. Cause for me is a pinched nerve in my neck. see your doc asap its scary
