I actually wasn't trying to have a GLOW UP! I was just extremely fed up with feeling like crap and decided once and for all at the age of 43 years old to do something about it. Here's the top five things I did in the order that I did them 1.    Got sober. I'm not telling you to stop drinking (just drink very moderately) but this piece of the puzzle was necessary for me, and quite frankly the best thing l ever did. 2.    Began eating most of my meals at home. I used to eat out A LOT. Now I love eating at home and I love knowing what I'm putting into my body. 3.    I started eating a high protein and healthy fat diet. This means I stopped concentrating on a low calorie, low fat diet. Incorporating more protein and healthy fats at each meal satiates me and has helped with everything from weight management, hormone health and just a better overall quality of life. 1.    I stopped working out to burn calories and I started moving my body in a way that felt enjoyable. I love to push myself physically, but I don't like to do it for a long time. I have found shorter and more effective ways to move my body that I absolutely love. I'm stronger and fitter than I've ever been and I do less. 2.    Intermittent fasting. If you know me, you know I swear by intermittent fasting. Intermittent fasting is the biggest tool in my health toolbox. It allows me to maintain my weight without having to diet. It helps me with my overall well-being. With everything from my physical health, my mental health and my spiritual health, it's been one of the best things I've ever done. All of these things were meant to transform my insides and the glow up was the side effect. This is why I am so passionate about my lifestyle. It's truly astounding how everything that I resisted was the answer to me feeling and looking my absolute best.
