I’ve been jogging those trails for 30 years. Trust me, do the 3-mile, 3 times instead. Much safer. The 10-mile is highly dangerous

I know that this is not for everyone, but I literally open carry. I saw a weird guy who kept on trying to approach me while I was tying my shoe as soon as I turned around and he saw what was on my belt bag loop he got scared and ran off.

Yes!! My friend and I had the same thing happen too! Also past Noble Joe Coffee!! The guy was on a bike and he kept circling us 😭Thankfully we ended up meeting with a family and we just asked them to walk with them and told them what was happening!

I totally understand being scared and not knowing what to do but we as girlies need to normalize sounding the alarm! Call him out in public! Yell and ask what the heck he’s doing and why he won’t stop following you! If you see any other people, make them aware of the situation! Pull out your camera! It’s literally the last thing they expect because they want you scared and silent.

Can we normalize being absolute freaks when something like that happens? After a minute I would have started shaking, barking, and acting like I have rabies so this man thinks I’m bonkers and wants nothing to do with me. If you freak out and cause a scene they will leave.

that end past noble joes or oracle is def a little sketchy compared to the rest of the trail. I always try to avoid that area, or only walk there when it’s bright outside. stay safe!!!!
