Lord, may Your peace guard Kae's heart and mind. Only You are able to provide Kae with what she needs to get through these rounds of chemo. Fill her with peace that doesn’t panic, comfort for every wave of grief, faith that doesn’t fear the future, and purpose as she waits for You. May Kae be more aware than ever that her identity is not in any aspect of her cancer journey but in Christ alone. May it be clear that You are her God. You are with her, and You have promised to never leave her (Heb. 13:5). May Kae be aware of Your presence in the hospital.... grant her entire care team wisdom, guidance and understanding what is needed to treat Kae not just the cancer, but the chemo, the side effects, the emotions, the physical and emotional hardship this disease brings. Give Kae all she needs to get through this day, and allow her to rest knowing You will be with Her to handle what’s to come. Touch Kae with your love so that she may feel your love and presence. In your name we pray Lord. Amen
