it was propaganda like many other things about the ussr, while yes the thought of “freeing” africa seems nice in reality the ussr made africans unalive many many more africans than europeans and at it was basically all for nothing since there are still big western companies in very corrupt african countries

the left is very childlike in the fact they view the world through the lense of a cartoon network series. the bad guy West and the good guy ussr. they think the Soviet Union "helping" Africa harboured no ulterior but the reality was they just needed a foremost against the west and as long as they weren't there physically the Africans won't know what awaits them. but the would have found out fairly quickly if soviet troops ever actually stepped foot in Africa the natives would have suffered the same faith as chrchens, greeks, inrush, circadian, ukrainians, volga Germans, Kazakhstan, etc; who all where originally recipients of "help" given to them by the Soviets to fend of against an internal threat but after they where taken over they realised how inhumane the Soviet regime was, rebelled and where genocided accordingly

Have you seen the contrast between how the USA and the USSR depicted people from the African continent? Soviets gave them grace, , pride, style and humanity. USA did not.
