So you have worked out the Watt-hour capacity, now you need to work out the load wattage and divide the watt-hour capacity by the load wattage to get the actual number of hours the battery will provide power.

He says you shouldn't be concerned about amps, but instead be concerned about Watts. If you live in the Northern hemisphere in the winter, you need to be concerned about amps to get your vehicle started in cold weather, particularly, CCA, cold crank amps. This is a measurement of how well the battery can deliver all those Watts to your starter.
