I understand your side. I don’t think it failed us but it does feel a bit like sabotage. We just want equal rights, opportunity and self expression without ridicule, etc. But it’s just been taken too far. For example, a woman being able to provide for herself and wanting to be taken care of. Here comes the 50/50 debate, under logic that “women are able and doin more so I, as a man can do less.” But that’s not what we asked for😭.. exactly Circling back to more masculine women bc eventually we HAD to provide for ourselves but that’s not what some of us want to do forever. I wouldn’t say “losing femininity”, more so men are threatened by us taking over and they want us to think we’re less feminine, some do and end up overcompensating. But it’s crazy and seems like it “failed us”bc these systems men created fail women. It’s so deeply rooted too. It’s the same timeless loop wrapped in todays academic language. This is all planned, it’s a system that was never meant to support women and ppl of color. Anyway it’s clear the patriarchy at work.
