@elastaboy: Pt 2: Stuck Hips 🥲. 2 quick tests for hip external rotation (your ability to turn the thigh out): Test 1: Figure-4 ✅ Pass: knee drops out, no pinch → you’ve got space. ❌ Fail: knee stays high or blocked → limited external rotation range. Test 2: 90/90 Lift-off ✅ Pass: smooth foot lift → strong control. ❌ Fail: can’t lift or cramp → weak deep glutes or tight adductors blocking you. ⚡ Test 1 shows if you have the space. ⚡ Test 2 shows if you can control the space. If you failed both, don’t stress. Parts 4 & 5 will show you how to fix it. Next up: Part 3 → testing your internal rotation and single leg control 🤝

normal passive ROM of hip external rotation is ab 0-50 degrees, what ur showing is 0-90. this is absolutely not necessary for everyone

this isn't overly accurate. external hip rotation is primarily determined by genetics. how far forward your joints sit in your hip sockets determines how much rotation you can reach and there is a minimal amount of additional rotation you can achieve through stretching

Try TikTok workouts with caution. I just had reconstructive surgery on my ankle after following an “Ankle mobility workout”. Not every bone structure supports every workout.
