my dog doesnt like other dogs so thats why i dont go to the park with him. but he loves humans and cats so i always give him a change for some love from others. my vet said i needed to train him because it would be nice for him to he around dogs. so this question was a good answer to the vet

took my dog to the park. before I put my car in park he jumped out to be aggressive with another dog. I was so embarrassed. the family was rightfully mad at us. I made sure everyone was OK and apologized profusely. never took him out again.

See my dog would have been great until you flicked water at him. 🤣🤣🤣 He absolutely hates being sprayed or having water thrown at him. And the vacuum cleaners. 🤣🤣🤣🤣 He hatessssssssss vacuum cleaners. I always have to warn people to put him up before they turn it on. 😭 (He doesn’t go for the person, but he will get the vacuum)!

My dog is reactive to strangers and has gotten sooooooo much better after I decided that I would only take him with me to places where he’d feel safe and comfortable

We took our dog to a "Pet-Palooza" food truck and vendor festival. I commented that it was so weird that hardly any of the dogs were barking. Then my husband said that those events kind of self-select for dogs that behave ok in public.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. Some Catholics do believe, however misguided, that having their pets blessed will help them heal from physical and mental pain. It could be this person thought they were treating their dog’s reactivity with prayer.

We went to a “fun dog show” a few months back and someone put their dog in it who was incredibly nervous. The dog nearly bit the judge when they came around to look at them 😬

we had a family bring their dog to the apartment complex pool this weekend and then when they were told it wasn't dog friendly they tethered it in the not dog friendly courtyard and proceeded to bark for an hour.
