I whole heartedly agree with you. I don’t like purity culture. I don’t think my daughters should bear the weight of a boys lust. But something I struggle with, personally, is how young we are sexualized, (whether it’s natural or from society). And that leads me to guide my daughters towards slightly more modest clothing. I think it maybe stems from childhood trauma. 🫣 But in general that’s where my heart is when I see young girls dressed in revealing clothes. It’s like a “you have so much time to feel sexy, when you’re in your twenties and onward, why don’t we just wait until then, and work on confidence without sex appeal for now”.
