Osteria Santo Spirito in Florence had the best pasta (actually, FOOD) I have ever had in my entire existence and I dream about it every day. I will literally go back to Florence just for that😭GET THE GNOCCHI!!!! U may have to wait in line BUT WORTH IT

Florence you must eat at Trattoria La Casalinga. In Rome highly recommend eating in the Jewish Ghetto. You can make reservations at most places and recommend doing that. I can send you a more detailed email. I’ve been to Florence and Rome multiple times so can give the low down on each place

Amalfi Coast trip, if you guys can. Btw, too much walking, and the commute is a little rough. But beautiful view and the limonccielos are sooo good there … also, in Rome, do the touristy stuff cuz the MAIN thing there is the Colosseum, Vatican, Spanish Stairs and Trevi Fountain. The Vatican line is ridiculous, so just join a tour group. You can see the Pope on Wednesdays there. The Vatican museum and Basilicas are stunning to look at! Anyways, hope you have FUN!!!!!

Check out restaurants in the testaccio neighborhood in rome for classic roman dishes, felice, lo scopettaro, jole, and piatto romano are all great places

In Florence I recommend climbing the 400ish steps to the top of the dome!! It’s definably worth it. Also, make sure that your gelato is in tin tubs with lids!! Authentic gelato is not pilled up and vibrant colors. Make sure to visit ebi’s bar in Florence!! He creates a custom shot based off the flavors you prefer. As for Rome, authentic roman pasta should not be anymore than 10€ (learned from my italian host) it should not be expensive!! If you haven’t booked accommodation im Cinque Terre, i recommend staying in La Spezia and taking the cinque terre pass to visit all towns. It is more affordable and a smaller city with great restaurants and bars. It is only a 20minute ride to monterosso and about 10-15 from the other villages. Enjoy your trip! Make sure you have time to slow down and enjoy yourself💗 it’s easy to get lost in the hustle of travel so remember to enjoy it.
