I met Mariah in 1999, coming out of Quad Recording Studios. She had just recorded Heartbreaker with Jay Z and DJ Clue. I was 14. Jay Z was a diva, Clue was indifferent, but Mariah was really nice. I have a photo with her from that night with her arm around me. Her bodyguard explicitly told me not to put my arm around her, but I didn't listen. I was 14 and madly in love with her. 😍
