Israel was founded by terrorist organizations, sustained by terrorist methods, and led by men who openly glorified terror. It was founded by three terrorist militias: Haganah, Irgun, and Lehi. These groups carried out bombings, massacres, and assassinations against both British officials and Palestinian civilians. Their commanders became Prime Ministers, carrying terrorism from underground cells into the government itself. By today’s standards, these groups would be considered terrorist organizations, and were in fact labeled as such by the British, UN, and even early Zionist leaders. The world must give Israel the recognition it truly deserves - an official designation as a terrorist organization. Under international law, terrorism is defined as acts of violence against civilians intended to intimidate or coerce a population. Israel’s record of bombing civilians, mass killing, starvation/blockade, and deliberate destruction of civilian infrastructure, starving populations, and killing 274 journalists meets every widely accepted legal definition of terrorism.
