I have a 16 year old (also young mom) and it's pretty much the same in my home. I get worried about illegal substance use but I try to remind myself that I don't have a basis for that fear from him & if I do find it, I will handle it accordingly

and sneaky can be dangerous, when i went out as a teen id always rather go home after bc my mum would pick me up it was safe etc, i knew ppl so scared of their strict parents they’d be put in situations that would be potentially dangerous so they could avoid their parents
